Another day, another donor

I've been getting lucky with string donors, lately! I love it! Many thanks to Carol for the latest batch of fun! This is what I've been up to lately:
The 'Prayers for Rain' bracelet - made entirely of semiprecious stones in shades of blue. Well, almost. There's some metal in there holding it together. This is such a beautiful piece! I'm not just saying that because I made it. It truly takes my breath away a little bit. :)
'A Forest' - can you tell I'm a little fixated on The Cure lately? ;) This one is also all stone. In pretty greens and earth tones. It makes me happy.

The Head Hunter bracelet is getting rave reviews all over the place!

I used my new strand of the blackest black pearls ever to make the 'Contrast' earrings. These spiffy pearls are going to make their way into everything, I fear. I linked to the original seller - check out her store if you're looking for fun and unique gemstone beads that won't kill your wallet. Neatothings is my go-to store for small quantities of well, super neato things to play with! :)

Oh, hey...I have a blog here!

I am a crappy blogger. Buuuuut, I have a few new pieces to share that totally knock my socks off! I've been experimenting with fun new 'colors' of guitar strings sent to me by a wonderful new string donor. Thanks, Sharon! :) Take a look!

Autumn

Fall is here. It snuck up on me, and I didn't even get a chance to notice! One day I'm shackled to the sewing machine, making Halloween happen for my costume clients...then I look up and BAM! It's not green out there anymore. It's like when Dorothy lands in Oz and everything is technicolor.

To celebrate, I made some pretty dangly earrings. Fall is such a great season for fun accessories! It makes ME want to wear jewelry, and I usually don't bother with it at all. Strange, right? Jewelrymaker...doesn't wear tons of jewelry? I'm a nut. C'est la vie.

Fancy Par-tay!

I just threw my shop at the wall on thee Remodelaholic 'shop link up party.' Y'all should go join the shenanigans! :)

Speaking of fancy, check out Amber modeling my new pendant style! It's round, pearly and sparkly, and looks fabulous with my Chandelier earrings! I'm fixin' to add it to my store as soon as I edit the latest batch of product photos. Enjoy!

Summertime, and the beading is easy...

What is it about summer that makes me revert straight to the earthy materials and hippy stuff? Wood beads, crazy colors, stone, shell and bone...I'm so there. I even bought myself a patchouli plant at the greenhouse this year.
The obnoxious stone skull beads are going to be cropping up all over the place for a while. My friends went to a gem show and came home with 3 freakin' strands of 'em for me. Now, I love skulls...I do...but it takes me so long to get through an entire strand of [almost] anything!
So, happy Summer, y'all. Enjoy the sweltering weather and the hippy smell at whatever craft show you wander through next. :)

Friday Favorites!

Four new pieces to share! Check out Lavender, Queen Bee, The Kiss and Meadow.

I am in the process of listing everything I can dream up an identity for! It amazes me how every step in the Etsy listing process is a creative challenge. Even with a routine, it takes a while to dream up all of the details! It's a pain in the arse at times, but it's the perfect way to showcase the virtues of each unique piece of jewelry.

Enjoy!
